Our program runs EVERY SUNDAY at TAFT, from Mid September through about Late March in the MAYS RINK (across the breezeway) parking lot off Guernseytown Rd, Watertown.

We are very excited about our 2016/2017 Skating Season.  The Watertown Skating Club has been around since 1951 and remains a family oriented, fun place to skate.  Over the years our club has evolved into the great organization it is today.  We have an amazing learn to skate program, ice dancing, adult skate, a synchronized skating team, a competitive team and have had some time with world renowned, Olympic guest coaches. Each year our club grows and progresses and this year is no different.

We will run in approximately three 8 week sessions.  The cost of each session is still being determined.

Late September  – Mid November – Every Sunday

Mid November – Mid January – Every Sunday

Mid January – Late March – Every Sunday

We are not-for-profit and run by volunteers. Buy good skates at Wesco, 270 Federal Rd, Brookfield.  Look for skates made by Jackson or Reidel

For those wanting more ice time, members will be able to purchase skating sessions at Newington Rink at a discounted rate through Watertown Skating Club.

Our Program includes:

*Basic skills classes for kids ages 5- 17

Welcome to the 2015-16 season of the Watertown Skating Club. OUR 64th YEAR! There will be a parent meeting on the first day of skating, September 20, 2015 at 5 PM.

WSC members may be interested in getting the club logo on a jacket, sweatshirt, or vest. The important thing to note is that it does not have to be bought at any special store, it can be something they already own. Joey's Army Navy Store in Watertown has our logo and will be happy to transfer it to any clothing brought to them for just $10.00. They also have a variety of different styles and sizes for adults and children in the store or they can be ordered from their catalog.

One of our adults: Pat Bouteiller has volunteered to take vest/jackets to Joey's Army Navy to have WSC logo sewn on for the $10. Great idea for Christmas.

If you need help, look for a green name tag- that person should be a Coach, Board Member or Junior Instructor.

Keep your name tag with your skates when you leave as you need it for admittance to the ice and lessons. Helmets not enforced but hats and mittens help protect.

BS 1-4 parents need to be present while their children are skating. Dress warm.

Check the calendar weekly for any changes to the schedule. Changes will also be posted on Facebook and sent by email.

We will try to let you know as soon as we know of any changes.
